Chapter 148 A Limit 　

Amelia had just come out of the supermarket with Alex when she received a call from Liam.

After hesitating for a while, she finally picked it up.

"Why did you take so long to answer the call?" Liam's questioning tone swept away the fleeting flutter in her heart.

"I'm at a mall. My phone was in my bag, so I didn't hear it ringing," she replied.

"Which mall?"

Amelia didn't know why he asked for so much details. Nevertheless, she told him the name of the shopping mall. Then, Liam ended the call.

"Was it Liam?" Alex asked.

Amelia nodded and put her phone back inside her bag.

"What did he say? Is he coming over?"

She shook her head. "I don't think so. He simply asked where I was."

He probably called her after returning home and saw that she had moved out. That was why her heart skipped a beat when she saw his caller ID display on her phone just now.

"Let's go home, then. We've bought all that we need for the tacos tomorrow!"

"Sure!"
